Dr. Chen is co-founder of Overture, a venture builder to support the growth of start-ups. Before this new start-up, Dr. Chen was CFO and has over 30 years’ experience in financial and operation management in the Greater China and Asia Pacific region. His career has spanned a diverse range of industries including medical devices, food and beverage, consumer products, e-commerce and retail. He successfully completed two companies’ exits in the past 8 years and the recent transaction receiving “Exit of the Year - Mid Cap” in The Asian Private Equity & Venture Capital Awards 2023. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, Griffith Business School, Australia and Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong.

Dr. Chen earned his doctorate degree in Business Administration from Curtin University. He is FCMA, CGMA and FCPA (Australia & HK), CTA (Non-practicing), CMC and HKCGI Cert: ESG holder.

Dr Chen also shows commitment to education, accountancy professional development and community services. Dr. Chen currently sits on the Griffith University’s Business School Strategic Advisory Board and Accountancy Departmental Advisory Committee of City University of Hong Kong. He is HKSAR Area Committee Member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and past Chairman of CIMA, HK Branch. Dr. Chen has also served a specialist and financial expert of HKCAAVQ and board member of several non-profit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong. In addition, Dr. Chen regularly participates in workshops and delivers lectures and speeches at professional associations, universities, and conferences, including the CFO Innovation Forum, Future CFO Conference and CFO Summit Asia.

John C. Lee is Vice Chairman and Co-Head of Asia Country Coverage, Global Banking for UBS AG. Mr. Lee joined UBS AG in March 2017 and is currently responsible for senior client coverage and origination efforts for M&A and equity and debt capital markets in the Greater China region. He has over 30 years of investment banking experience with transactions across Asia in a wide range of product areas. Prior to joining UBS AG, John worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for 20 years from 1996-2016 as Vice Chairman of Asia Coverage and Head of Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau coverage and at Bear Stearns Asia Limited for 2 years from 1994-1996.

Mr. Lee is currently a Member of the Listing Review Committee of The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited as well as Council Member of The Better Hong Kong Foundation, Council Member for Advisory Council on Career Development for The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Vice Chairman of Hong Kong-Mainland International Investment Society.

John holds a BBA degree from Southern Methodist University in the U.S., with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate.

Mr. Eric Poon is the founder of EEMM Limited which is a valuation and property agency company. The company provides agency, deal sourcing, and valuation services to professional institutions and private investors. Eric Poon is a Chartered Management Accountant and Chartered Surveyor (Valuation), he provides professional services of agency, valuation and deal structures to the clients in Hong Kong and China. In 2021, he represented the vendor and seller of a shop and closed this deal which worth HKD$ 1.1 Billion in Hong Kong. This deal is a record high of Hong Kong shop transaction since 2000s. Before he established the EEMM Limited, he was the head of a chairman office of a private company with Asset Portfolio up to HKD 30 billion. In early 2000s, Eric Poon was working in manufacturing industry in Japan and China. He managed 1800 workers in factory in Dongguan China.

Eric Poon have worked in China, Hong Kong and Japan for 20 years. He is ACMA, CGMA, MRICS(Valuation), MBA, Master of Engineering and Estate Agent.
