Executive Certificate in Interpretation of Financial Statements
HKIRA is delighted to announce the introduction of a series of certificate courses curated and instructed by highly experienced senior IR practitioners with over 10 years of work experience in listed companies. In response to the overwhelmingly positive feedback and demand, we are thrilled to declare that the Executive Certificate in Interpretation of Financial Statements will be rerun in July & early Aug. This course is meticulously designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical insights in effectively communicating with shareholders and the capital market.
The certificate is a series of three courses highlighting the key aspects of preparing and interpreting financial statements from the viewpoint of IROs, CFOs and Investors.
Course attendees will be able to gain a better understanding on the dynamics of the financial statement figures, technical knowledge in key accounting rules and insights on responding to questions regarding financial statements upon completion of all three courses offered by the certificate.
Course 2: Reading financial statements from an investor's perspective
The course will share viewpoints on the following topics:
- Elements of financial statements that are most important to investors
- Financial statements analysis and tools used by investors to detect red flags, risks and uncertainties
- Transforming historical financial statements into a picture of the company's future
- KPIs used by Warren Buffett and other investment gurus to assess a company's business prospect
- Case illustrations and discussions
Course materials will be provided in English. Chinese course materials will be made upon request for corporate or board trainings.
CPD acknowledgement will be issued for each individual course upon request.
