    Dr. Eva Chan is the Founding Chairman and Fellow Member of Hong Kong Investor Relations Association. She is the Head of Investor Relations of C C Land Holdings Limited (stock code: 1224). She has more than 25 years’ of working experience and was the CFOs and company secretaries of various listed companies in Hong Kong. She is mainly responsible for formulating the IR strategies for the company and conduct meetings with investors and fund managers all over the world. She also leads a number of corporate finance exercises and corporate restructuring activities.

    Dr. Chan is an independent Non-Executive Director of Capital Environment Holdings Limited (stock code: 3989) and is appointed as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Accounting and Finance of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University since 2012.

    Dr. Chan graduated from City University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Art in Accounting. She then earned her MBA degree from the University of Nottingham. She also obtained a DBA degree from the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong. Dr. Chan is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS) and The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. She is also a fellow member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

    Dr Cao Xiaping (Jerry) serves as associate professor at Hang Seng Business School, affiliate of ESG center and chair of China Action Group. Dr. Cao graduated from Boston College with PhD degree in finance under supervision by Professor Josh Lerner from HBS,a Master degree from University of Western Ontario and BA from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Dr. Can currently work as chair professor of finance in Shenzhen University. His prior placements include Singapore Management University and Sun Yat-sen University. Dr Cao helped found Asia Private Equity Institute at Singapore Management University and MIT REAP Guangzhou Center in SYSU. He is an expert in finance, innovation and entrepreneurship and has grown new interest in Fintech and Quant trading.
    Dr Cao teaches in finance courses of all levels on Corporate Finance, IPO, M&As, VC and PE. Dr CAO also used to teach executive courses on Chinese capital market and global financial market. Dr Cao currently serves as associate editor for Economic Modelling and editorial board for Frontier in Artificial Intelligence and several special issue for Pacific Basin Finance Journal. His publication records include over 20 papers including ones in JFE, MS, JFQA, JCF and JBF. 
    Dr Cao currently advises several startups and he works currently with financial firms in advising AI transformation including NASDAQ listed firms and HK listed ones. Dr Cao receives many awards including best paper in FMA and academic conferences. Dr is also recipient of Lee Foundation Fellow in Singapore and MAS appreciation award for being a regular speaker at Finance Literacy Education for the Singapore government.

    Dr. Cheng is the Dr. S H Ho Professor of Banking and Finance. He is also the Director of the Research Centre for ESG as well as the Research Institute for Business at the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. He was a member of the Investment Committee of the Hospital Authority Provident Fund Scheme (2016-2022) in which he led the effort in promoting ESG integration for an investment portfolio of about USD 8.74bil (as of March 2020). Dr. Cheng actively engages in ESG and green finance research. In addition to publishing on Green Bond, he received various research donation and grants related to ESG and financial services for a total exceeding HKD8mil. He is also a coauthor of a book chapter titled “Fintech Unicorns” in The Palgrave Handbook of Fintech and Blockchain, 2021.

    Dr. Cheng is a member of the Business Studies Assessment Panel for Competitive Research Funding Schemes for the Local Self-financing Degree Sector under the Research Grants Council (RGC). He also served as a member of the Business Studies Panel (Joint Research Schemes) for the RGC, Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Panel, and University Council and Trustee Board of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Pension Fund. He is currently a member of the Examination Board of The Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong (IFPHK). Dr. Cheng has over 100 articles and books published including the Journal of Finance. Dr. Cheng is an author of Fundamentals of Financial Planning, and the lead author of Financial Planning and Wealth Management: An International Perspective, both by McGrawHill. Dr. Cheng served as a project consultant for various organizations including the United Nations, Bank of China, Investor Education Centre (IEC), SFC, MPFA, Value Partners, Agricultural Bank of China, BCT, Fubon Bank, HKEx, Charles Schwab, Tai Fook Securities, and HKSI.

    Chris is currently Head of Greater China Institutional Business at Mirae Asset Global Investments and is responsible in developing regional institutional business platform as well as offering Global X ETF solutions to sovereign wealth funds, pensions and endowments.

    Chris is a subject matter expert in designing and offering index/ESG solutions to the investment community throughout his tenure as an Asia regional leader with top 3 global index/ESG data providers, namely MSCI, FTSE Russell and Nasdaq Indexes.  He worked closely with asset owners and other public-sector investment entities in their asset allocation and portfolio construction as well as risk management process.  Moreover, he consulted with ETP/OTC product issuers and regional exchanges to ensure index solutions were accessible and consistently meeting investors’ needs.

    Before switching his career to index industry in 2010, Chris held senior positions at Credit Agricole Asset Management (nowadays Amundi), Franklin Templeton Investments and Manulife where he worked in various areas including fund distribution, investment advisory as well as product management and training. 

    Chris Tse was Chairman of the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong (IFPHK) that is an affiliate member of an international assembly of the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB).  FPSB is an affiliate member of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), and works with its network of member organizations at the national and regional levels to champion the interests of consumers and providers of financial planning advice.  In 2015/16, he was appointed as Advisory Committee member by Investor and Financial Education Council (IFEC) to assist them in formulating financial education initiatives for Hong Kong SAR.  He is currently sitting in investment committee for both a public entity and an industry association.

    Chris acquired two Master degrees, one in Economic Analysis & Policy from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom and the other in Investment Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.  Chris is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holder and has extensive professional qualifications in investment and financial risk management.  In order to enhance his competence in offering Green and Sustainable investment solutions to institutional clients, he completed Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) by EFFAS and Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) Certificate awarded by GARP.  He has been appointed as Honorary Fellow (Master of Applied Finance: Portfolio Management and Valuation) by Macquarie Applied Finance Centre, Macquarie University since 2015.
