    Dr. Eva CHAN

    Chairman, Hong Kong Investor Relations Association

    Head of Investor Relations, C C Land Holdings Limited


    Dr. Chan is the Head of Investor Relations of C C Land Holdings Limited (stock code: 1224). She has more than 25 years of experience and was the CFOs and company secretaries of various listed companies in Hong Kong. She is mainly responsible for formulating the IR strategies for the company and conducting meetings with investors and fund managers all over the world. She also leads in a number of corporate finance exercises and corporate restructuring activities.


    Dr. Chan is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Capital Environment Holdings Limited (stock code: 3989) and is appointed as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Accounting and Finance of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.


    Dr. Chan graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. She then received her MBA degree from the University of Nottingham. She also obtained a DBA degree from the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong. She is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association, a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries, a fellow member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

    Mr. Christopher HUI

    Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury, HKSAR


    Mr Hui was appointed the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury on 22 April 2020.

     

    Mr Hui was an Administrative Officer in the Government from 1999 to 2003 and served in the Economic Development Branch, the Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in Beijing and the Home Affairs Department. Mr Hui worked in the banking sector after leaving the Government in 2003 and has worked for the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited for over 10 years. He has been the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council since 2019.

     

    Mr Hui holds Bachelor and Master (Hon) Degrees in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, and Master of Business Administration Degree from INSEAD. He also attended the Stanford Executive Programme (SEP).

    Mr. William FUNG

    Group Vice President, AMTD Group


    William Fung is the Group Vice President at AMTD Group. Prior to joining AMTD, Mr. Fung served as an Executive Director, Asia Debt Syndicate function at the investment banking division of UBS AG Hong Kong Branch since 2009; as well as serving similar roles at Nomura International and Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong and New York. Mr. Fung has extensive experience in global debt capital markets and has syndicated and executed numerous capital markets transactions for Asian as well as global issuers including corporates, financial institutions and sovereigns / quasi-sovereigns.

    Ms. Michelle Li is co-CEO of AMTD Digital. She is a promoter and influencer in FinTech industry. She speaks frequently on major industry events. Before AMTD, Ms. Li served as lead analyst of Asian Financial sector in the Asia Fixed Income research team of UBS.

    Ms. Nina ZHAN

    Ms. Zhan is the Head of Investor Relations of 361 Degrees International Limited (SEHK: 1361). She joined the Company in October 2015 and leads the team in designing and executing effective investor relations programmes, so as to enhance the transparency in the investor community. Ms. Zhan has over 13 years of experience in corporate finance, investor relations, corporate governance and management from her previous positions in investment banking, communication advisory and Hong Kong listed company. She is the Executive Committee member, and also a Fellow member of the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association (HKIRA). Ms. Zhan received her bachelor's degree from Peking University, majoring in International Relations and double majoring in Economics. She received her master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005 in the United States, majoring in International Political Economy.

    Ms. Esther CHAN

    Managing Director, Strategic Financial Relations Limited


    Ms. Chan is an investor relations and public relations veteran with more than 20 years of solid experience in public relations, the financial media and equity analysis. Since joining SPRG in 1998, she has played an instrumental role in effectively expanding business for the Group's financial practice and has led numerous pioneering campaigns, including several winners of prestigious awards in the region.


    Esther's professional competence has the complement of her wealth of international and finance-related experience. She has work experience in the United States, gained journalistic experience at two of the most important media in Hong Kong, namely the Hong Kong Economic Journal and South China Morning Post, and equity analytical skills strengthened at a pan-Asian regional securities house, as well as hands-on investor relations management expertise accumulated at SPRG. With all-round professional capabilities, Esther has advised more than 150 listed companies, financial institutions and professional firms on their IR and PR programmes.

    Silvia CHEN

    Head of China Issuer Services, Senior Vice President

    Markets Division, HKEX


    Ms. Silvia Chen is currently the Head of China Issuer Services of the Markets Division at HKEX.  


    Ms. Chen joined HKEX in 2018. Prior to joining HKEX, Ms. Chen was an Executive Director at HSBC Global Banking and Capital Markets, working with Chinese enterprises on equity capital markets related matters in Hong Kong. She has led a number of landmark financing activities for Chinese and International corporates in the fields of IPO, share placement, and convertible bond issuance. Ms. Chen started her career at Merrill Lynch as an investment banking analyst, covering Retail and Consumer Products Sectors.


    Ms. Chen received her Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley.

    Mr. John LEE

    Vice Chairman, Managing Director

    Head of Greater China Global Banking, UBS AG


    John C. Lee is Vice Chairman and Head of Greater China, Global Banking for UBS AG. Mr. Lee joined UBS AG in March 2017 and is currently responsible for senior client coverage and origination efforts for M&A and equity and debt capital markets origination efforts in the Greater China region. He has over 25 years of investment banking experience with transactions across Asia in a wide range of product areas. Prior to joining UBS AG, John worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for 20 years from 1996-2016 as Vice Chairman of Asia Coverage and Head of Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau coverage and at Bear Stearns Asia Limited for 2 years from 1994-1996. Mr. Lee is a Council Member of The Better Hong Kong Foundation and also a Committee Member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Financial Services Advisory Committee and Vice Chairman of Hong Kong-Mainland International Investment Society.


    John holds a BBA degree from Southern Methodist University in the U.S., with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate.

    Mr. GUO Zi Li

    Head of ECM and Managing Director, CMB International


    Mr. Guo Zili is currently the Head of ECM and Managing Director of CMB International.


    Mr. Guo has extensive experience in overseas IPO, follow-on, private equity financing and equity-backed financing. He has led or participated in nearly 200 overseas equity financing transactions. Prior to joining CMB International, Mr. Guo was Head of Syndicate in Huatai Financial Holdings, and Executive Director in UBS Asia ECM; Mr. Guo also worked at Citi Asia ECM and DCM in his early years.

    Dr. Michael CHEN 格隆博士

    PhD in Finance and the Founder, Gelonghui


    The works of Mr Chen include but not limited to Dictionary of China Finance(中国金融大辞典), Convertible Bond Investment and Financing --Theory and Practice(可转换债券投融资—理论与实务), H Share Investment Guidebook (H股投资指南) and On Hunting the Maker (猎庄说). Mr Chen was awarded as Best Researcher in the first New Fortune Selection and the 'Industry Model in the Past 15 Years' in the 15th New Fortune Selection. He was one of the pioneering overseas investors in China, and accumulated over 20 years of experience in cross-market investment in China and abroad. One of the funds under Mr Chen' management won the second prize in terms of annual performance among all public funds of the same type in China. Mr Chen has worked for the three largest funds in China and the biggest Chinese insurance company in Hong Kong respectively, where he worked as researching director and investment director, managing an asset of over 100 billion RMB. Mr Gelong has rich experience and insightful views in the investment in China and abroad, including A share, Hong Kong stock and the U.S. stock.

    Mr. Angus GUTHRIE

    Director, Investor Relations, CLP


    Angus Guthrie has over thirty years experience in the energy industry and fifteen years of experience in Investor Relations. He has led the Investor Relations program at CLP Holdings Ltd in Hong Kong since 2014.


    Originally trained as a geophysicist he worked in oil and gas exploration for a number of companies in Australia. After time in the Planning Department of Esso Australia he undertook exploration, commercial, strategy and planning roles with Boral Energy. He worked on the demerger of Boral Energy from its parent conglomerate to form Origin Energy in 2000. In 2001 he took over Investor Relations, building the program over 10 years as the market capitalization grew from around A$1 billion to A$15 billion. 


    In 2008 Angus was awarded Best Investor Relations Officer by Peer Vote in Australia. He joined the Board of the Australian Investor Relations Association (AIRA) in 2009 and was Chairman of AIRA for two years from 2011 to 2013. He left Origin and joined the CLP subsidiary Energy Australia in 2012 before moving to Hong Kong to work for CLP in April 2014. 


    Angus holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Adelaide. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has been a serving Panel Member of the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association since 2017.

    Mr. Peter J. CAVENY

    Assistant Senior VP-Investor Relations, Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd.


    Peter is responsible for and leads all aspects of Galaxy's Investor Relations activities on a global basis. He is a highly respected IR practitioner who has been at the Group since 2006 and has more than 20 years' experience in the IR field having previously worked at a number of Investment Funds and Corporates. He has in-depth knowledge of the Company, industry and capital markets. Peter is instrumental in setting the company's IR strategy and implementing world-best IR practices. GEG has a diverse shareholder base, with more than 60% of the Group's free float held outside of its home market of Hong Kong.

    Mr. Aldous CHIU

    General Manager – Strategy and Investor Relations, New World Development Company Limited


    Aldous Chiu is the General Manager – Strategy and Investor Relations of New World Development Company Limited. He is mainly responsible for supporting the Board of Directors and the Group's strategy and investor relations matters like the engagement of the investor communities including institutional investors, investment banks, analysts and rating agencies. He is also involving in corporate strategy and activities like IPO, M&A, bond issuance, stakeholders' engagement initiatives, corporate governance initiatives, results announcements, and annual report production.


    Aldous joined New World Group in 2002. Before joining New World Group, Mr. Chiu has extensive experience in equity research and management consultancy specializing in conglomerate, real estate, retail, supply chain management, operation reengineering and business strategy. Mr. Chiu holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Guanghua School of Management of Peking University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst holder since 2001.

    Ms. Luna FONG

    Head – Investor Relations, Link Asset Management Limited


    Luna Fong is currently the Head of Investor Relations of Link Asset Management Limited, the manager of Link Real Estate Investment Trust. Luna has extensive experience in accounting, finance, investor relations and corporate strategy. Prior to joining Link REIT, she worked as Corporate Finance Manager in Esprit Holdings Limited. She also worked as Senior Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis at Sino Land Company Limited and Senior Manager in Assurance at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Luna holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and is a Certified Public Accountant.

    Mr. Alex LUPIS

    Managing Director, Global Head of Client Engagement Group, Global Co-Head of ESG Sales, HSBC Markets and Securities Services


    Alex Lupis joined HSBC in 2010 and is Global Head of Client Engagement, based in Hong Kong, overseeing Global Investor Access and Client Management in Markets & Securities Services. In this role, he is responsible for the origination and execution of conferences, seminars, roadshows, field trips, expert events and macro research marketing for the Bank's Equity and Fixed Income clients globally. Alex also leads the client management strategy for HSBC's institutional clients, managing the delivery of the Bank's resources to key institutional clients.

     

    In addition, Alex was recently appointed Global Co-Head of ESG Sales and is responsible for leading ESG

    Thought Leadership in Markets & Securities Services globally and co-running ESG Sales efforts in Asia-Pacific.

     

    Before joining HSBC, Alex held a similar role at Citi, where he oversaw the bank's corporate marketing and origination for its Asian equity clients, based in Hong Kong and New York. He has 22 years of experience in the financial industry, having worked in the US and Asia. He started his career on the buy- side in Boston at Putnam Investments and Wellington Management Company. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales and is a CFA charterholder.
