Mr Hui has been Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury since 2020. He serves on the boards of Mass Transit Railway Corporation Limited, Hong Kong Airport Authority and also as the Chairman of the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation.

 

He was an Administrative Officer in the Government from 1999 to 2003 and served in the Economic Development Branch, the Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in Beijing and the Home Affairs Department. After leaving the Government, Mr Hui spent 13 years at the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, having been the Managing Director for Market Development and Head of Project Management and also in various senior roles in Listing and Market Development. He worked for a number of multi-national companies in the private sector as well. He was appointed the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council from 2019 to 2020.


Mr Hui previously held a number of public roles including Councillor of the City University of Hong Kong, Member of the Mandatory Provident Fund Authority Process Review Panel, Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Review Committee and also Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants Disciplinary Panel.

 

Mr Hui holds Bachelor and Master (Hon) Degrees in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, and Master of Business Administration Degree from INSEAD. He also attended the Stanford Executive Programme (SEP).

Dr. Michael CHEN 格隆博士

PhD in Finance and the Founder, Gelonghui


The works of Mr Chen include but not limited to Dictionary of China Finance (中國金融大辭典), Convertible Bond Investment and Financing — Theory and Practice (可轉換債券投融資—理論與實務), H Share Investment Guidebook (H股投資指南) and On Hunting the Maker (獵莊說). Mr Chen was awarded as Best Researcher in the first New Fortune Selection and the 'Industry Model in the Past 15 Years' in the 15th New Fortune Selection. He was one of the pioneering overseas investors in China, and accumulated over 20 years of experience in cross-market investment in China and abroad. One of the funds under Mr Chen' management won the second prize in terms of annual performance among all public funds of the same type in China. Mr Chen has worked for the three largest funds in China and the biggest Chinese insurance company in Hong Kong respectively, where he worked as researching director and investment director, managing an asset of over 100 billion RMB. Mr Gelong has rich experience and insightful views in the investment in China and abroad, including A share, Hong Kong stock and the U.S. stock.

Ms. Sandra Leung

After spending 6 years as COO of the Market Development Division and Senior Vice President in the Group CFO's Office, Sandra is currently Head of Business Management at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX). Prior to joining HKEX, she spent 10 years in investment banking, with her last role as Executive Director of Goldman Sachs Investment Banking Division, covering the consumer retail sector in the Greater China area.

Sandra is passionately involved in social and diversity-related initiatives in Hong Kong and was recognised for her accomplishments and efforts with the "Young Achiever of the Year" award by the American Chamber of Commerce Women of Influence Awards in 2016. In addition to Time Auction, Sandra also sits on the boards of Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong as well as the Ebenezer School & Home for the Visually Impaired.  Outside of work (both professional and charity), Sandra enjoys watersports, as well as cooking and eating -- having graduated from both the Basic Cuisine and Basic Patisserie courses at Le Cordon Bleu, Sydney.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Sandra was brought up in the local school system before leaving for high school in the US and later receiving her BSc in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.  

Catherine Tsui

Corporate Sustainability Associate Director, PwC Hong Kong 


Catherine is an Associate Director with the Corporate Sustainability Team with over 15

years of consulting experience in both private and public sector organisations in

particular with a view to develop strategic collaborative options that maximise the

commercial value and/or public value contribution of relevant business propositions or

government-led initiatives.

Over the last seven years, Catherine has focused more on the social and welfare sector

and works closely with a number of not-for-profit organisations, philanthropy

foundations, relevant government bureaux and departments; and academic institutions

in addressing specific social issues, including, social inclusion of disadvantage children,

ethnic minorities and people with differences, basic needs provision of the working poor,

community care of the elderly, mental wellbeing of children and youths and feasibility of

outcomes based contracting of social programmes.

Clarence T'ao

Co-Founder


A veteran banker having extensive experience in the financial markets in the APAC region,

China and Canada, Clarence has accumulated broad banking and market knowledge which

spanned loan syndication, structured finance, acquisition/leveraged finance, and corporate and

private banking. Before his last assignment at BNP Paribas in wealth management, Clarence

was based in Shanghai and served as the CEO of BNP Paribas (China) between 2010-2014. Prior

to joining BNP Paribas, he has held various senior positions with Citibank and the Chase

Manhattan Bank. Since November 2018, Clarence decided to pursue his own interest. He is a

Co-Founder of GoImpact (Impact Investing), an Advisor to the PrivEx (a Singapore Fintech

platform), and the Founder of Immortelle Health.

Ms. Vicki Tsang

Anti-Stigma Project Coordinator at Mind HK


Vicki graduated with a Masters in Social Work with a strong background and passion in mental health and psychology stemming from her Bachelors in Psychology.


With over five years of experience in mental health initiatives and supporting people with their mental health in both Vancouver and Edinburgh, Vicki hopes to bring her experience to Mind HK and help destigmatize mental health in Hong Kong. She hopes to normalize the conversation around mental health and the need for mental health support in the bustling city of Hong Kong where the conversation surrounding mental health can be a taboo topic. Prior to joining Mind HK, Vicki worked to support UNHCR and refugees as they are another one of Hong Kong's most stigmatized population groups.


Vicki is an outdoor enthusiast and an advocate for spending quality time in nature. In her personal time, she is a keen marathoner, occasionally ultramarathoner, hiker and an avid climber.

Catharine Wong

Catharine heads Tricor Share Registry & Issuer Services and is responsible for execution and

operations.

Prior to joining Tricor, Catharine was the Head of Depository and Nominee Services in HKEX,

responsible for overseeing the daily operation and business development of all the depository, IPO

and corporate action processes in HKEX. Highlights include implementation of the China Stock

Connect, re-engineering key processes in the Central Clearing and Settlement System and leading the

discussion on the Uncertificated Securities Market (USM) operation model.

Catharine has over 20 years of experience and has held various operations, client relations and

business management positions in major international banks. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce


from the University of New South Wales, Australia, a Master's degree in Applied Finance from Mac-

quarie University in Sydney and is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).


Catharine is the Chairman of the Federation of Share Registrars Limited (FSR) and a member of USM

Working Group led by the Joint Working Group, including Securities and Futures Commission, HKEX

and FSR.

Ms. Winnie Fan is the Head of Investor Relations at Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB; stock code: 511.HK). She has extensive investor relations and audit experience. Prior to joining TVB, she held senior investor relations positions in State-Owned Enterprises listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange and a Chinese company listed on Nasdaq. Before pursuing her career in investor relations, she worked at the Audit and Learning and Development Departments of KPMG Hong Kong. Ms. Fan holds a bachelor's degree of Accounting from Portland State University and a master degree in Education from George Washington University. She presently serves an Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association and the Deputy Chairman of its event committee. She is also a Council Member and the External Secretary of The Association of Women Accountants Hong Kong. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Benny Yeung

Mr. Benny Yeung has extensive experience in corporate finance, treasury management, financial investments, sustainable finance and investor communications. In his current role as the Treasurer and Investor Relations at Hysan Development Company Limited (HKEx: 0014), he oversees the group's treasury functions including capital management, capital market and bank loan market financing and sustainable finance initiatives . He is also responsible for formulating investor relations communication strategy so as to maintain active dialogue and enhance transparency with different stakeholders. Mr. Yeung holds a Master degree in Corporate Governance and Compliance from the Hong Kong Baptist University and a Bachelor degree of Accountancy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He also attains a professional certificate in Sustainable Finance from University of Cambridge and ESG Investing certificate from CFA Institute. He is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and associate member of The Chartered Governance Institute and The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute. 

Mr.Arthur Lee

Arthur Lee is currently the Assistant President and Company Secretary of CGN New

Energy Holdings Limited (stock code 1811), a state-owned enterprise focusing on

renewable energy. He was a core member of the Company's IPO in 2014. He has over

25 years of experience in the area of investor relations, board management, strategy,

corporate governance, taxation, audit, financial management, budgeting, accounting, etc.

Arthur obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Chinese University of Hong

Kong. He was awarded a MBA from the University of Warwick. He also graduated from

the Master of Corporate Governance degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University

with distinction.

He is a Fellow member of HKICPA, ACCA, HKCGI and CGI. Besides, he is a CFA

and has the PRC Legal Professional Qualification.

He is currently an Election Committee member of HKSAR and Secretary-General of

Association of Hong Kong Accounting Advisors. He serves as a Council member for

the Hong Kong Baptist University and the ACCA Global Council. Arthur was Past

Chairman of ACCA-HK, Past District Treasurer of Rotary District 3450, and Past

Chairman of the Youth Committee of the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association.


He was awarded by the HKIRA as Best IRO (Small Cap) in 2021.
