    Mr. Ambrose Lee joined VPower Group as Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Capital Markets/ Corporate Finance in early 2017, responsible for formulating the overall strategy of the Group and in charge of the overall capital markets, financing and corporate finance activities of the Group, including fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations and ESG matters. He received the Best Investor Relations Officer Award by Hong Kong Investor Relations Association in 2020.


    Mr. Lee has over 20 years of experience in investment banking and asset management in Greater China. He was with BOCI Asia Limited from 2009 to 2016 with last position as the managing director and head of Hong Kong coverage. Prior to that, he held various positions at Morgan Stanley Asia Limited, Deutsche Bank AG, Hong Kong Branch, BNP Paribas Peregrine Capital Limited, etc in Hong Kong, where he participated in corporate finance and capital markets transactions. Mr. Lee has been the independent non-executive director, chairman of the remuneration committee and a member of the audit committee and nomination committee of Impro Precision Industries Limited (listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, stock code: 1286) since April 2019. Mr. Lee has become a director of Myanmar Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2020.

    Mr. Paul Au

    Mr. Paul Au, who joined CMBI in May, 2017, is the Head of Fixed Income Department at CMBI. His leadership duties include international primary and secondary debt capital markets businesses (senior notes, preferred shares, equity debts and other debt financing activities). Also, Mr. Au and his team conducts sales and trading at the second-hand bond markets. Mr. Au has a renowned business reputation at the oversea second-hand bond industry including banking, hedge fund, asset management, insurance and private banking.


    Before joining CMBI, Mr. Au was the Head of Debt Capital Markets and Head of Credit Market Syndicate (Asia) for UBS. He and his team has successfully led multiple investment-grade and high-yield bond issuances, leading UBS to rank among top 5 at the Bond Issuance League Table for Chinese bond issuances for many years. Mr. Au also once worked for Citi Group for the Head of Debt Syndicate and Associate at Debt Capital Markets, Credit Suisse.


    Mr. Au has conducted more than 500 bond issuance deals, with total values of issuances exceeding 100 billion US dollars. He also participated in R&D processes for fixed income products, offering interest rate and exchange hedging solutions to the clients. Highlights of his works include: debut US$ senior notes issuance for Ministry of Finance of PRC and China Construction Bank; US$ notes issuances for Fosun International Ltd., Beijing Enterprises Holdings Ltd. and multiple Chinese property companies. Outside China, Mr. Paul also led the global US$ notes issuance for the Indonesian and South Korean government, and Asia's largest US$ notes issuance: US$ 500 mm notes for Hutchison Whampoa Ltd.


    Mr. Au has a Bachelor's Degree (Accounting and Finance) from University of Toronto, and is the representative for license 1, 4, 6 and 9 from Securities & Futures Hong Kong.  

    Ms. Elaine Hu

    Elaine Hu is Investment Director of Value Partners, responsible for the firm's fixed income investment and portfolio management. She has over 10 years of experience in the fixed income industry, mainly covering China High Yield space. She was ranked the Second in the Top 10 Astute Investors in Asian G3 Bonds in Hong Kong, awarded by The Asset Benchmark Research Awards 2020 and was ranked among The Top Astute Investors in the same category since 2016.

    Mr. Samson Lee

    Mr. Samson Lee joined BOC International in 2007, and now serves as Managing Director/Head of Financial Products Division, managing Fixed Income Debt Capital Markets and Structured Products businesses. Before joining BOCI, he worked with HSBC, Bank of America, and Standard Chartered, and ran various businesses in credit products, structured financing, M&A and client coverage. He has over 20 years of extensive banking experience, covering a broad group of clients and products across Asia. Since he joined BOCI, Samson has been instrumental in building the PRC/HK onshore and offshore fundraisings for both PRC and non-PRC companies, leveraging on the platforms of BOCI, and with good successes. He has built his team to become a leading one in BOCI's markets. His DCM team is consistently ranked very top in the relevant leagues tables and won a number of awards, including Best DCM house awards and various deal awards; and his Structured Products is also one of the most active teams in the market and issues multi-billion dollars of structured products every year.  Samson is a CFA Charterholder. He graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with an MBA degree.

    Mr. Ken Suen

    Mr. Suen Wai Kin (孫暐健), co-CFO of Kaisa Group Holdings Ltd., is mainly responsible for the financing and financial planning of the Group outside the PRC.


    He served as the Deputy General Manager and the Head of Fixed Income at Founder Securities (Hong Kong) Limited from 2018 to May 2020. From 2014 to 2018, he served as the co-Head of Fixed Income Trading at BOCI Securities Limited. From 2008 to 2014, Mr. Suen held finance and investment positions at various private corporates. Mr. Suen also worked for the Bank of America from 2002 to 2008.


    Mr. Suen graduated from University of Michigan in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. 

    Mr. Christopher Yip

    Christopher Yip is Senior Director and Analytical Manager for the Greater China Real Estate team in the Corporate Ratings group at S&P Global Ratings. Based in Hong Kong, Christopher leads a team of analysts that evaluate the creditworthiness of companies in the property development, commercial and retail real estate operations, sectors as well as other property related companies in China and Hong Kong.


    Before joining S&P Global Ratings, Christopher worked as a corporate credit portfolio manager for Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore and also in London, specializing in structured credit products and corporate balance sheet management. He has also previously worked in a debt origination team for Greater China and Korean corporates as well as financial institutions while based in Hong Kong.


    Christopher graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's degree of Science in Systems Engineering and Civil Engineering, with a minor in Economics.
