Ms. Venus Zhao

Deputy General Manager of Hong Kong Office, General Manager of Capital Markets and Corporate, Sinic Holdings (Group) Co., Ltd. 


Ms. Zhao Hui, Venus has solid academic knowledge and professional experience in capital markets, investor relations, media relations, corporate communications, and corporate finance, with near fourteen years of relevant experience in Fortune 500 MNCs and Hong Kong listed companies, during which eight years in property sector.

In her current position as General Manager of Capital Markets and Corporate Communications at Sinic Holdings (Group) Company Limited (Stock code: 2103), she leads the team in designing and executing effective capital markets, investor relations and corporate communications programs, so as to enhance the transparency of the Company and ultimately to achieve a fair valuation of the Company's securities.

She is also Chairman of Event Committee and Executive Committee member, and Fellow of Hong Kong Investor Relations Association (HKIRA), and served previously as Council Member of Malaysia Chamber of Commerce, Full Member and Council Member of Hong Kong Institute of Marketing (HKIM), Full Member of Asia-Pacific Association of Communication Directors, and Full Member of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Los Angeles Chapter.

Venus received her master degree of Strategic Public Relations in Communications and Journalism School in University of Southern California, and her MBA degree concentrated in Finance in The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.

Mr. Derek Chung

Derek Chung is our chief strategy and business development officer and head of investment banking. Mr. Chung has over 16 years of experience in investment banking, including originating, advising and executing capital markets and M&A transactions for corporate clients across Asia. Between 2016 and 2019, Mr. Chung worked for Deutsche Bank and most recently served as managing director, head of financial institutions group, Asia, where he was responsible for the coverage of traditional financial institution and financial technology corporate finance clients across Asia. Prior to serving at Deutsche Bank, Mr. Chung worked at the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs between 2004 and 2016. He obtained a bachelor of science degree in electrical and computer engineering in May 2003 and a master of engineering degree in financial engineering in May 2004, both from Cornell University.

Elsy Li is the Group Treasurer and Head of Corporate Development and Investor Relations at Sun Hung Kai & Co. Limited. Ms. Li is a seasoned investment banking professional with more than 24 years of experience. Prior to joining Sun Hung Kai Co. Limited, she was a consultant with at a renown international human resources firm. Before that, she has held various senior investment banking positions including Managing Director of Institutional Client Group and Managing Director of Asia Financial Institutions Group at Deutsche Bank Hong Kong. Elsy held a BBA degree from the Ross Business School at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and has been a Member of the Listing Committee of Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 2019. 

Dr. Eric Poon

Dr. Eric Poon, FCIM Eric started his career in private equity and asset management ~27 years ago. He specialized in investing in tech champions and supporting investors to access these ''tough-to-access'' private deals and public companies. His investors / LPs included family offices, charity / foundations, and institutions globally. He built his track record working for Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, BlackRock, Barings, Value Partners, UBP, and All-Stars having based in New York, Vancouver and Hong Kong. He co-represented the Association of Family Offices in Asia (AFO) to take part at the board sub-comm of the HK Financial Services Development Council (HK FSDC) and he was the United Nations (UN)'s Senior Strategic Advisor, an Advisor of Forbes and board advisor to the JC Foundation. He is an observing member of the Global BlockChain Business Council (GBBC), committee of the HKVCA, and the Cyberport Investor Network. He was an executive board committee of the HK Investment Funds Association and the Co-Chair of ESG at the CdnIS in HK. He has also been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and a Vice Chairperson of CIM HK. He is a Board Advisor of the UBC's VSE CC, and Eric has been an officer (and ex-Treasurer) of the Harvard Business School (HBS) Alumni Association HK for more than 10 years.


Mr. Rock Tung

Director, Head of Policy Research

HK Financial Services Development Council 


Dr Tung is the Director, Head of Policy Research for the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC). He leads the team responsible for conducting policy research and industry surveys for the formulation of proposals to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and financial regulators. Prior to joining the FSDC, Dr Tung was the Director of Capital Markets Policy for CFA Institute, covering research areas related to capital market structures (e.g. corporate governance, regulatory environment) in the Asia Pacific region. Before that, he was the Senior Economist for the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, where he oversaw its macroeconomic research, as well as labour- and international trade- related policy research functions. He also served as an economist and a research analyst for banks, a trade credit insurer and a Hong Kong-based think-tank. Dr Tung holds a doctoral degree in organisational leadership from the Northeastern University in Boston. He received a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree, both in Economics, from the University of Hong Kong and the University of Wisconsin – Madison, respectively.

Mr. Jin Zi

Mr. Jin is the founding partner of Coronation Capital.

Mr. Jin has 14 years of experience in private banking wealth management and trading.

He joined J.P. Morgan Private Bank in 2010 and served as the head of China Strategy Group in Great China Business Unit.

During his tenure at J.P. Morgan, Mr. Jin and his team managed more than US$3 billion assets, mainly investing in fixed income, equities, hedge funds and private equity. Mr. Jin also led and participated in offshore trust and family office establishment, stocks and bonds IPO, tax and wealth succession planning for a number of ultra-high net worth families.

Mr. Jin is proficient in global bond market investment, especially in the field of Chinese real estate bonds, and has maintained cooperative relationship with many real estate bond issuers for more than 10 years. 70% of US$3 billion assets under his management are allocated in the bond market.

Mr. Jin holds an MBA from London School of Economics and a bachelor's degree from University of Nottingham, UK.
