Through informative presentations and engaging panel discussions, IR specialists will gather and share on the latest and most relevant topics in the industry, aiming to provide advance IR knowledge and skills, inspire C-levels and IROs for their professional challenges, and promote corporate governance and IR best practice.

    Eva CHAN, Head of Investor Relations of C C Land Holdings Limited

    Dr. Chan is the Head of Investor Relations of C C Land Holdings Limited (stock code: 1224). She has more than 25 years of experience and was the CFOs and company secretaries of various listed companies in Hong Kong. She is mainly responsible for formulating the IR strategies for the company and conducting meetings with investors and fund managers all over the world. She also leads a number of corporate finance exercises and corporate restructuring activities.


    Dr. Chan is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Capital Environment Holdings Limited (stock code: 3989) and is appointed as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Accounting and Finance of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.


    Dr. Chan graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. She then earned her MBA degree from the University of Nottingham. She also obtained a DBA degree from the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong. She is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association, a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries, a fellow member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

    Wilfred YIU, Managing Director and Head of Markets of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited

    Wilfred is Managing Director and Head of Markets for Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. Previously, he was Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Beijing Gao Hua Securities Company Limited, and Chairman of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Qian Kun Futures Co., Ltd. Prior to that, he was Head of Credit Structured Products for Asia at Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C.


    Wilfred served as a governor for the Board of Dalian Commodity Exchange in China from 2015 to 2017, and is currently an advisor for the Strategic Advisory Committee of Dalian Commodity Exchange. He is an adjunct professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.


    Wilfred earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

    Peter CAVENY, Assistant Senior Vice President, Investor Relations of Galaxy Entertainment Group

    Peter is responsible for and leads all aspects of GEG's Investor Relations activities on a global basis. He is a highly respected IR practitioner who has been at the Group since 2006 and has more than 20 years' experience in the IR field having previously worked at a number of Investment Funds and Corporates. He has in-depth knowledge of the Company, industry and capital markets. Peter is instrumental in setting the company's IR strategy and implementing world-best IR practices. GEG has a diverse shareholder base, with more than 60% of the Group's free float held outside of its home market of Hong Kong.

    Jacky CHAN, Head of Property Research of AMTD Group

    Jacky Chan is the Head of Property Research at AMTD Group. Prior to joining AMTD, Jacky spent over eight years at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank as their China Property Research Analyst. While at Morgan Stanley, he was ranked as Runners-Up by the Institutional Investor All-Asia Property Research rankings. Through his research, Jacky advises and influences the investment decisions of global institutional investors in the Greater China Property sector.


    Jacky has been the lead analyst of pre-deal investor education for many major IPO's and M&As of property companies, including the successful IPO's of Red Star Macalline, CIFI, etc.

    Aldous CHIU, General Manager – Strategy and Investor Relations of New World Development Company Limited

    Aldous Chiu is the General Manager – Strategy and Investor Relations of New World Development Company Limited. He is mainly responsible for supporting the Board of Directors and the Group's strategy and investor relations matters like the engagement of the investor communities including institutional investors, investment banks, analysts and rating agencies. He is also involving in corporate strategy and activities like IPO, M&A, bond issuance, stakeholders' engagement initiatives, corporate governance initiatives, results announcements, and annual report production.


    Aldous joined New World Group in 2002. Before joining New World Group, Mr. Chiu has extensive experience in equity research and management consultancy specializing in conglomerate, real estate, retail, supply chain management, operation reengineering and business strategy. Mr. Chiu holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Guanghua School of Management of Peking University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst holder since 2001.

    Cara EIO, Head of Asia Pacific of Institutional Investor Research

    Cara Eio is the Head of Asia for Institutional Investor Research. She has overall responsibility for the division's business development and strategy, while leading efforts to ideate new products and offerings for clients across the Asia Pacific region.

     

    Before joining Institutional Investor, Cara founded and ran her own regional IR consultancy in Hong Kong. Prior to this, Cara was the Managing Director at Nomura International (HK), where she led a world-class team responsible for the origination of corporate access. This included an advisory role to listcos, ideation of bespoke access for investors, and the planning of roadshows and conferences. In addition, she was Head of Client Strategy, focused on maximizing returns on the cash equity business, and was also part of the Asia Pacific Executive Operating Committee. 

     

    Prior to joining Nomura in 2009, Cara was Head of Corporate Access at Merrill Lynch (HK). Before joining Corporate Access, Cara was a publishing analyst, initially at Vickers Ballas and then at Merrill Lynch. She started her career with Schroders Investment Merchants Bank in syndicated loans in Singapore.

     

    Cara graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce undergraduate degree, majoring in accounting and finance. More recently she attained her Masters of Education degree from the University of Hong Kong.

     

    Cara advocates for girls' education issues and was an ambassador for the Women In Nomura (W.I.N.) network, promoting the recruitment, development, advancement, and retention of women. She continues to support women's issues with active involvement in the Women @ Euromoney initiative.

    William FUNG, Group Vice President of AMTD Group

    William Fung is the Group Vice President at AMTD Group. Prior to joining AMTD, Mr. Fung served as an Executive Director, Asia Debt Syndicate function at the investment banking division of UBS AG Hong Kong Branch since 2009; as well as serving similar roles at Nomura International and Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong and New York. Mr. Fung has extensive experience in global debt capital markets and has syndicated and executed numerous capital markets transactions for Asian as well as global issuers including corporates, financial institutions and sovereigns / quasi-sovereigns.

    Grace HUI, Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer of the Listing Department at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited

    Grace Hui is a Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer of the Listing Department at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited with direct responsibility over Listing Enforcement, Listing Policy and Secretariat Services & Support (including corporate governance and environmental social governance), Structured Products & Fixed Income, Primary Market Information and Accounting Affairs. Before joining HKEX in 2013, Ms. Hui was with UBS for over 10 years in various roles in Hong Kong and in New York, including senior counsel for its investment banking division and Managing Director, Chief of Staff and Global Chief Operating Officer of UBS Legal & Compliance Department. Ms. Hui holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is an Insead alumni. Ms. Hui is a qualified lawyer in both Hong Kong and England & Wales. 

    Emily LAU, General Manager, Investor Relations of Pacific Basin Shipping (HK) Limited

    Ms. Lau graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2003 with a BA degree in Geography and History and an MSc degree in Applied Accounting and Finance from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2012. She joined Suga International Holding in 2004 as a member of the Corporate Management team. In February 2005, she joined Pacific Basin as Investor Relations Assistant and promoted to General Manager in 2017. She is now responsible for corporate communications and investor relations of the Group. She was awarded the Best IR Professionals - Transport by Institutional Investors Asia Executive Awards in 2012, 2013, 2017 and 2018 and Best IR Professional by Corporate Governance Asia in 2015.

    Feon LEE, Director of Investor Relations of AIA Group Limited

    Feon Lee joined AIA in 2010 and is the Director of Investor Relations at the Group. In her current role, Feon supports the development and execution of IR strategy and leads a proactive investor outreach programme with the aim of building and enhancing AIA's reputation in the capital markets through investor communications.

     

    Prior to AIA, Feon was the Investor Relations Director of Lenovo Group. During her time with Lenovo, Feon was ranked top three of Hong Kong's leading IR professionals in the Thomson Extel survey in both 2008 and 2009.

     

    Feon has an MBA from Oregon State University in the U.S. and a bachelor's degree in journalism and communications from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has been a member of the HKIRA's IR Panel since 2018. 

    Vivian LEE, Head of Asia Regional Sales HK & Head of APAC Corporate Access of UBS Securities Asia Limited

    Vivian Lee is the Head of APAC Corporate Access and Head of Asia Regional Advisory Sales in Hong Kong. She joined UBS in 2011 from Bank of America Merrill Lynch where she was Asia ex Japan regional Sales. Prior to that, she has worked in the financial industry both in New York and Boston. She graduated from King's College London in 1999.

    Mark PHIN, Head of Investor Relations for Asia Pacific of HSBC Holdings plc

    Mark Phin is Head of Investor Relations for Asia Pacific at HSBC. Mark joined HSBC in 2016 from Keefe, Bruyette & Woods where he was a sell-side equity analyst covering UK banks, having previously carried out similar roles at Morgan Stanley, Credit Agricole and ING.

    Tae YOO, Managing Director, Markets Division of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited

    Tae Seok Clement Yoo serves as Managing Director in Global Client Development department in Markets Division. His department is responsible for covering relationships and business development initiatives engagement of institutional clients across sell-side exchange participants, buy-side investors and custody banks. 

     

    Since joining HKEX in 2011, he was head of platform development & strategy and product & index development. He has been a key member of initiatives such as stock & Bond Connect, OTC Clear, BRICS exchanges alliance and London Metal Exchange (LME) acquisition. Yoo has over 23 years of industry experience with 14 years at CME Group as head of Asia strategy in institutional sales in Singapore and senior positions in business development and clearing risk management in Chicago and Hong Kong. Prior to CME, he worked at Sumitomo Mitsui Bank (Sakura Dellsher, Inc.) and at Goldman Sachs & Co in Chicago.

     

    Yoo holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame, MBA from the Stuart School of Business at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and GSAL program at the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business. He has been named an inventor on nine U.S. patents on derivatives risk management applications.

    Venus ZHAO, Deputy General Manager of HK Office & General Manager of Capital of Sinic Real Estate Group Co., Limited

    Ms. Zhao Hui, Venus has solid academic knowledge and professional experience in capital markets, investor relations, media relations, corporate communications, and corporate finance, with near fourteen years of relevant experience in Fortune 500 MNCs and Hong Kong listed companies.


    In her current position as General Manager of Capital Markets and Corporate Communications at Sinic Holdings (Group) Company Limited (Stock code: 2103), she leads the team in designing and executing effective capital markets, investor relations and corporate communications programs, so as to enhance the transparency of the Company and ultimately to achieve a fair valuation of the Company's securities.


    She is also a Fellow of Hong Kong Investor Relations Association (HKIRA), and served previously as Council Member of Malaysia Chamber of Commerce, Full Member and Council Member of Hong Kong Institute of Marketing (HKIM), Full Member of Asia-Pacific Association of Communication Directors, and Full Member of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Los Angeles Chapter.


    Venus received her master degree of Strategic Public Relations in Communications and Journalism School in University of Southern California, and her MBA degree concentrated in Finance in The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.
