Michelle Li is a portfolio manager at Credit Frontier. Prior to this, she was the Head of Research at AMTD Group. She specializes in analyzing the financial sector in China and follows the FinTech industry closely. Before joining AMTD Group in 2016, she served in UBS as the lead analyst for Asian Financial sector in the Asia Fixed Income research team and the Chinese bank equity analyst in the Asian Financials research team.

    Junpei ‘Joni’ Zhong (鍾俊培) earned his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Hamburg, Germany. Prior to this, he obtained M.Phil and B.Eng degrees from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and South China University of Technology, respectively. Currently serving as a Research Assistant Professor with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Dr. Zhong specializes in human-centric AI, human-robot interaction, and cognitive science.

    His research endeavors are dedicated to the development of human-centric AI systems, focusing on innovative applications in healthcare, adaptive devices, and assistive robots.

    Mr. Venant Chiang (蔣卓男) is a seasoned financial professional over the last two decades. He was involved in a wide spectrum of areas globally including equity research, IPO and portfolio management with different financial giants such as Merrill Lynch (US), HSBC and Deutsche Bank. He marked a record of raising over USD25bn in primary and secondary offerings and also assisted in asset management for the firm-wide portfolio exceeding USD30bn AUM.

    Since 2016, he has found the foray into the technology sector by taking up the C-Suite roles with three exits and co-found companies specializing in artificial intelligence or GPT-related. In the crypto arena, he completed a high-profile NFT project for one of the largest entertainment companies in Greater China. He is currently managing a blockchain fund to capitalize on the outstanding opportunities as compared to the traditional asset class. In respect of surging demand for high performance computing, he is with Venture Hub to establish the AI Nvidia Super Server cluster in APAC.

    He has been appointed as an advisor by the HKU since 2018 and the vice president for the Hong Kong Spirit Charity Sports Association (Under Chapter 88). He obtains his undergraduate degree (cum laude) from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
